When we started the search for a new boutique manufacturer of photo frames for the BabySakes online store, we didn’t have to look far!
One of our favorite baby shower gifts received for our daughter #2 was this gorgeous chunky wooden frame. We realized we had never looked to see who was the manufacturer – so with a quick flip, we found the maker was “Smile for the Birdie.”
They were a bit difficult to track down, but once we did, we were delighted to receive a catalog that exceeded our expectations in unique photo frame designs for the new baby and family. The pictures are fantastic, but they are even better in person! Each frame is remarkably large (bigger than they look in the photos!) and makes a great design accessory for baby’s nursery.
Each photo frame includes a stand for tabletop display as well as can be mounted on the wall. One of our favorite features is that the edges are gently brushed giving them an antiqued finish “shabby chic” quality.
Being a family business ourselves, we are also glad to support Smile for the Birdie, which is a family business that began with two parents designing, creating and painting frames in their own workshop.
